SYNOPSIS: The Dawsons and the Putnams have been feuding for fifty years until one day, a gospel man comes into the territory and convinces Hen Dawson and Jed Putnam that their feud is ungodly. A truce is maintained until Jed's nephew, Wood learns that his sweetheart June is in love with Joel Putnam. He confronts Joel, and in the fight that follows, Wood is killed. Hen Dawson sets out to kill Joel and he finds him with June as they are about to elope. He is about to kill Joel when the gospel man appears and puts an end to the feud by marrying June and Joel.
